My Background
I am married with 3 children and 8 grandchildren. I work in Sydney as a computer programmer for an international computer company.
My wife Carmen and I have lived at Lugarno in Sydney for 25 years. We recently moved to Brighton-le-Sands.
For the seven years to 2005 we organised the Lugarno Christmas lights. Thanks to the generosity of the public we managed to raise a total of $380,000 for the Make-a-Wish Foundation to help brighten the lives of sick children.
In early 2006 I heard that school zone flashing lights were being trialled by the RTA at a cost of around $12,000 per sign. I set out to prove that reliable flashing lights could be produced for a fraction of that. The results can be found under the RTA Lights Trials link to the left.
I am now determined to ensure that school zone flashing lights are installed at all schools. With your support it can be achieved.
